What we do:

Malachite was established in 1976, back in the day when all our work was originated on 16mm and 35mm film (see SMPTE film leader above); we created a track record for producing long-running broadcast television series as well as ‘one-offs’. Making tightly controlled imaginative programmes with strong story lines, our people-based work is about design & technology, environmental issues, anthropology, music & dance, arts & education.

We initially worked primarily with UK mainstream television broadcasters (BBC1, BBC2, BBC4, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5), but with the advent of digital technologies we've extended our reach and now work with many galleries, museums and other arts enterprises including the Arts Council, British Museum, Campaign for Drawing, Charleston Trust, Galapagos Conservation Trust, Goldmark Gallery, Gordon Russell Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum.
